In 1990, Rick Maisel began writing "Escape or Die", a book on overcoming fear, to finally be
published in 2004. In addition, Rick will be appearing in a book by "Barnes and Noble", to be released in 2004, listing Rick Maisel as one of the top forty creative stuntmen (presenting several of Maisel's original escapes), in the world. |

| In 2002, the television show, "Escape and Beyond", was filmed and distributed worldwide. With the concept beginning in 1990, the dream became a reality, in 2002, when Rick Maisel, escape artist, became an equal partner, with Producer Ethan Kaufman, Cirrus Productions (Santa Fe, New Mexico) and Producer Darryl Frank, 0-3 Productions (Albuquerque, New Mexico), for the first episode of the show. The first episode of "Escape and Beyond" showcases five original escapes with four world record attempts (by Rick Maisel, escape artist). The show is an entertaining documentary, with never before seen footage of Harry Houdini (provided through Union Membership with the Society of American Magicians), expertly edited with interviews of psychiatrists and sport trainers, to explain why Rick Maisel would perform such death defying escapes, using his skills as an inventor, constantly creating new ideas. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| Maisel has already started his second book for future publication. His research in multi-dimensional and quantum physics has led him to write, "Kabbalah, The Ancient Science of Magic, Scientific Proof of Other Dimensions." Rick has given lectures on the topic, combining magic with exciting new information. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| Rick has also given lectures to Police and Law Enforcement Officers, to help keep them safe by explaining different ways that prisoners could and have escaped from restraints (handcuffs, leg-irons and straitjackets). | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| Included in the "International Leaders in Achievement", Rick was also included in the"Dictionary of International Biography." Rick Maisel was then asked to assist the nominating division of the International Biographical Center's Research Committee, in Cambridge, England. Rick Maisel's agents are constantly booking future engagements and he will have over one billion additional television viewers, just in 2004 and 2005. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
